- Rare original 14K gold Rolex bracelet. A solid gold bracelet was a pricey additional option available as an accompaniment to these watches. Very seldom does one find a chameleon that has an original Rolex Chameleon gold bracelet with it. Most didn't purchase this expensive option, and the few Chameleons that had owners who did, generally still don't have their bands with them as they were melted down or lost at some point.
We were fortunate to acquire this classic Chameleon in all-original condition. It has fully Rolex parts down to the original bracelet, dial, hands, winding crown, and crystal - no parts have been replaced.
Its case is in honest original condition - it has a dented area on the left side. Otherwise it is just short of mint.
Its silver dial is original and untouched, in excellent condition with modest toning, giving it a truer vintage look. One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it making it ready for immediate enjoyment. Please inquire if you would like photos of the inside.
